Nha Trang

Looking for a self catering villa/apartment with a pool in Nha Trang last week in March first week in April.

Will need washing machine, fully fitted kitchen, etc.

Must be quality!!! Not on a tight budget.

Any recommendations please?

Also is Nha Trang safe at night? Have read a few dodgy reports on here!

Erm Rammers, Vietnam is still a developing country and the facilities you seek (villa/apartment with a pool, fully fitted kitchen etc.) are very few and far between everywhere in the country, not just in Nha Trang.

If you really want to visit Vietnam your planning would be much easier if you turned your attention to hotels.

Nha Trang is SAFE!! The only people who seem to have problems are the extremely drunk patrons leaving the Why Not Bar and the Sailing Club late at night. Many "Dodgey Reports" are from people that unfortunately arrive with an attitude of mistrust and never venture beyond the small tourist area or memories of years past before the streets were cleaned up. In 15 years, I have not been the victim of any crime in Nha Trang.

Owee, which bar would be the one that expats that actually live there drink at now?

Oz bar used to be popular, but it is now gone.

Nha Trang has some problems, like expensive pizza :(, but it is a very safe city.

I would also close the freeway along the beach and put sunbeds and small bars on it :)

what a brilliant idea Maurizio- or close at least part of it- however, can you imagine the traffic diverted to the surrounding streets...omg

Hi,

Like elsewhere, you will be fine if you are not walking on deserted streets too late at night. vacation rental is still a new concept in Vietnam. There are few more in Danang, but targeted to expat residents only.

Maz we started building highways around the cities 40/50 years ago, Vietnam should follow...
