Hanoi food tours

Looking on the internet there seem to be several options for food / hawker tours. Hanoi Cooking Centre seems very popular. Does anyone have a different suggestion. Thanks

It's not bad advice as it goes, but if you're in a place that is clean and has a high turnover, you might risk the salad :-) We did and are here to tell the tale, with no tales of internal restlessness ;-)

Thanks YorkFoodie,

Probably best to judge each place individually as we go. :)

Just got back from 3 week trip in Vietnam and spent 5 nights in Hanoi. We ate food on the street and just picked places that were busy. Also we took a Street food tour through Buffalo Tours and booked at 3:00 PM for that night. It started at 5:30 and went to 8:30 and was $35 a d we stopped at 7 different places. Dan was our guide and be was great.

And as a person from Singapore you are expert enough about Viet cuisine to be able to make this categorical statement?

Um, Michael, it's not a compliment, it's a question. What are your credentials as an expert on Viet cuisine?
