Hi Jenny,

If you are referring to the weekend markets they are in Phuket town, any of the drivers or tuk tuks around your hotel will take you there for around 400Baht they are on Saturdays & Sundays only from around 3.30/ 4.00pm till around 10pm. Patong beach has Patong O Top markets with around 200 stalls and bars and they are open every day from around 10am till 10 pm opposite the holiday inns main entry on Rat U Thit road. There are also many other stalls and markets open each night around Phuket so you will not have to look to far as it caters heavily for tourists.

Jinda's shop as said is on the beach road about 300 metres north of Bang la road, on the right as you walk north, just keep your eyes open as the sign is very small, its white with red letters and about the size of a small street sign.

Best value for us is the weekend market but if you take the cabs fares into account its only good if purchasing large amounts, but its worth it just for the food stalls...

Cheers, Pete

G'day Jenny,

I wouldn't say Jinda's is a fixed priced shop but will say its good value ...alot of people seemed to get confused and then annoyed when they dont pay the same price as others .... also remember cost do go up in material , rents etc so prices can and should go up .

Have fun
