hi phuket experts! I am looking for the top few activities to take my kids on in august - we will be in phuket for 8 nights (Holiday inn and hilton)- my kids are 3 and 4 years old - and bedtime is about 9 pm after which they tend to get grisly. Any booking/contact/cost details you can include greatly appreciated!

We havent been yet. but we have booked a river rovers 1/2 day trip called, monkey jungle tour.

we have 4 young kids aged 2,6,6,8 and this seemed good for us. we have paid a bit extra to have Gordon and the boat to our selves.

If you type River rovers into the google search it comes up.

This will be our only planned trip. we thought between this, shopping and elephant rides we would just take each day as it comes. Our lot will prob just want to hang near the pool anyway.

hope this helps.

Hi Mumof2Sydney,

Dino Park at Karon beach and Fish feeding on Khai Islands(Khai Nok or Khai Nai) are the activities which your kids would love to go.

thank you for those ideas - looking into them! the monkey jungle tour sounds great but at 550 aud for a half day somewhat beyond our budget.

I live in Rawai and have a 2 1/2 year old.

His two favorite things are the Gibbon rehab center which we have been to 3 or 4 times. (turn east from the Heroines monument and then follow signs)

And the Aquarium over at Panwa. He loves to watch both monkeys and fish.

Also he is well known up at the elephant camp between Nai Harn and Kata (Kak Chang or something like that) they let him feed the elephants by hand and they have two monkeys there that are fairly friendly. (the black one stole his milk once so my son is more partial to the brown one)

Lots of playgrounds around here but I don't know much about Patong.
