White Sands Beach Resort, Koh Chang, November 2006

Hi, I'm thinking of staying in a beachside bungalow at the White Sands Beach Resort in November. Can anyone recommend it? Also what is the weather like there in November and are the mossies very bad then? I've heard of a restaurant/bar called Slick Willies on Koh Chang but can' t find out where it is. Does anyone know where it is?

HI there,

Did you end up staying at White Sand Beach Resort? I am thinking of going for Christmas and would really value your opinion?

Thanks

Hi Penny, no we didn't stay their in the end, we stayed at Chai Chet Bungalows nr to Klong Prao Beach, just down the road from White Sands and a lot quieter than White Sands. If you want more details just let me know. We paid £24 night for a twin, including breakfast. If you want somewhere to stay in Bangkok I know a good place there. Klong Prao Beach is a fantastic beach with swings all along it, massage places right on the beach and fantastic restaurants. I would recommend anyone to stay there. If you see someone on here called Coco Dee Bo then contact her and tell her Rosie advised you to get in touch. She will tell you anything you need to know about the island.. I loved Koh Chang and would live there if I could. Hope you manage to go. Let me know if you do and what you think. Regards. Rosie
