Chaweng Buri or Baan Chaweng ?

We are looking for a resort in central Chaweng with clean and nice room and bathroom, and hopefully offers a good breakfast.

We are considering Chaweng Buri (superior bungalow) and Baan Chaweng (superior room) - can someone advise which is a better option?

By the way, is Baan Chaweng the newer resort?

These are the exact same two that I am tossing up between. Interested in any comments?

They both seem to be in a good location... any pros and cons of either? Eg. beach, noise, breakfast, bathroom etc

Chaweng Buri is quite old resort, and it haven't been renovated. Superior and Deluxe rooms are exactly the same.1 swiming pool for 117 bungalows. Breakfasts are not bad. I think they charge too much for what they offer.

The sea is good, but Chaweng is too noisy.

SuzieCue.

we stayed at the Chaweng Buri 18 months ago and was ok

In regards to the comments about 117 bungalows, sorry that is incorrect. The resort is a mixture of rooms and bungalows.

In regards to the sea that all depends on what time of the year that you are there, we were there for September / October and the water was absolutely flat
