Just wondering has anyone stayed at the Royal Lanna Hotel and what did they think. Is it close to things to do like organising tours and eateries etc?
Cheers and thanks.
It's smack bang in the middle of the Night Baazar. The hotel is ok for the price you pay, but there are better deals to be had elsewhere for the same kind of money.
The hotel is "budget" and no better, but they DO do a fairly servicable breakfast buffet.
Do you have any other suggestions please?
You could try The 3 Sis or Early Bird B&B. Both have good reviews on TA.
If you have specific questions the best way to get them answered would be to send a personal message to some of the recent reviewers - there are some from March.
Have a look at Baan Thai Village - it isn't far from the night bazaar - just off the Tha Phae Rd. It's a smaller hotel with a pool.
Sakorn Residence is over the river but gets good reviews - a medium size hotel with a pool and large rooms.
Raming Lodge might be worth a look as well. Up a bit closer to the old city - medium size hotel.
If you're staying one night the Royal Lanna would be fine, if you're settling in a bit longer and want THAT location, at a similar rate, look across the carpark from RL to the Porn Ping, which is marginally better.
If you're spending a week take a close look at the B&B list, some might appeal. Here's the link;
Thank you for your help but have been told about Hotel M anyone been their, location seems ok?
