Hi Ed,

Yes. We've used them twice. Once as a couple about ten years ago and again last January with our two children.

They have been running for a long time.

We just call them from the hotel phone the day before we want to go. They pick you up at an arranged time in front of your hotel. Usually in a mini van. You go to their landing dock - which is in the grounds of a temple complex.

They take you up the river to a Thai Farm where you have fresh fruit and drinks provided. You stroll around the farm for an hour or so - and then you go back.

The boat trip is around half an hour each way. All up around two hours.

The farm is (of course) not authentic. It's someones home that they have done up to show the types of things grown in Thailand.

Still - I'd say it's a good way to spend a few hours. It gets you out along the river and you get to see some local river life. People fishing along the banks etc.

You are returned to the landing doc and they drive you back to you hotel.

Easy - and good value.

Forgot to mention - take some mossie repellent.

There were mosquitos at the farm.
