Try Julie Guesthouse. www.julieguesthouse.com - we were going to stay here but changed to CM Blue House. Others have told me its a great place.

Try Banana Guesthouse, Lamchang House, Bow Chiang Mai Hose, Chiang Mai Thai House, Eagle House, Hi-Five Stars, Joe Guesthouse, Paradise hotel & Guesthouse, People Place Lodging but I still recommend CM Blue Guesthouse. Can you call them before you fly to Chiang Mai, they might have cancelled booking, that's how we got the room. A month prior to our arrival it's fully booked(peak season too) but we never give up to the last minute, so I called 1 day before and good thing they have some cancellations.

I highly recommend Bow Guest house.

It has a great location, Right on Moon Maung rd 9.

Clean, Quiet,cheep prices with Western bathrooms, Hot showers, Ac. and a very friendly, Helpful Staff. Now I only stay at Bow house.
