Bed and Breakfast?

Hi to all,

I've never been to Thailand so this question may sound silly:

Do Bed and Breakfast style accomodations exist there?? I can't seem to find any online...

I am looking for a cozy, authentic, centrally located bed and breakfast in either Bangkok or Chiang Mai. Someone on staff has to speak English.

If you've stayed somewhere nice and can recommend it, please repond.

Recommendations for centrally located mid-range hotels (30-50 USD) will be welcomed too.

Thanks to all!

There are many guesthouses in Chiang Mai and Bangkok, which I suppose are the equivalent.

For Bangkok, try www.suk11.com

In Chiang Mai, there is a B & B called Baan Orapin - try www.baanorapin.com. The owner has fantastic English, but you will find English widely spoken in all the places tourists visit.
