Hi there,

I am planning a 10 day holiday in Thailand and would like to stay somewhere quiet, private, on the beach, no hotel chain or parties, just massages, great Thai food, sand, sun and ocean. I want something very natural and in tune to the surroundings (modern plumbing of course!)

Does anyone know of such a place??

Thank you for any information!! :)

What sort of budget are you thinking of ? There are some very exclusive small resorts in various locations, depends if you want luxury or something more simple. Also if you want to be really 'away from it all', time of year can also make a difference as there are different weather patterns.

Prachuabkirikhan sound right for you. A small unspoiled provincial capital on a beautiful bay, with few tourists. Khao Lak is very nice, but many foreign tourists.
