Have just returned from Marrakech and Hotel Amine was the 2nd hotel I stayed in. It's large, comfortable and pool area is good.
2 weeks there is plenty to do with trips outside Marrakech as well.
The big downside to this hotel is the location. It is out of town, about 15/20mins walk to Gueliz down dimly lit, uneven pavements. Shops nearby consists of a kiosk selling drinks and smokes, and a petrol station also selling limited drinks. There are 2 restaurants nearby and that does it. Okay a university directly opposit but no, nothing to explore.
Yes of course there are taxis but because not many empty taxis drive by, when they do they pretty much state the price.
If you have already booked at Hotel Amine it will be extra effort to get about (poss rent a car?) but it is possible, but it can give the feel of isolation because of it location.
