Hi, I am returning to Marrakech in October for 2 weeks to Hotel Amine. I would like to learn a few words to be polite 'thank you' etc Can anyone recommend a good way for me to do this

The primary language spoken in Marrakech is Darija, a dialect of Arabic. A useful site is http://www.speakmoroccan.com/

In the mountains and the south of Morocco people speak Berber.

In addition Peta you'll find that all guide books (at least all that I have) have a small section on vocabulary and useful phrases in Moroccan Arabic. Your efforts will certainly be rewarded!
