Tim admittedly wrote it already, but yes again, it is very easy to drive in Morocco. Avoid only to drive when it is dark, drive slowly and try to follow the rules because police control are often on the road and like you pay fine. But, they are nice so be smiling and it will be good and maybe you skip to pay.

Is it safe to drive from Marrakech to agadir? Being from the UK are the left hand lanes hard to use? And can I download sat nav maps for the journey?

Marrakech to Agadir is a straight-forward drive down the highway. No sat nav required.
