Yes, tent manufacturers have gauze inner tents specifically designed to keep them out, and refer to them as 'no-see-ums'.

Little b*ggers that float gently about, bite you but move before the pain hits, so when you wack the spot they've long gone.

No sightings (or soundings!) of mosquitoes in Marrakech so far. Too cold. They are generally not a problem anyway at any time of the year.
