Are there any wildlife tours or safari run from marrakech? Looking for a real David Attenborough type experience!

Hi,
What kind of animals are you hoping to see?
Not sure! Perhaps good bird life, reptiles etc.
So far this trip I've seen a tortoise and a snake crossing the road. I stopped to move the tortoise to the verge. The snake didn't need my help.
Morocco's last wild panthers, bears and Barbary lions are long dead. I once saw a gazelle, and I've seen a dozen or more wildboar. I've not seen scorpions, but an army of the Processionary Pine Caterpillars which are potentially quite nasty due to irritation from the hairs: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uvEDHi0466c
Wild monkeys in the cedar forests are easy to find: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1Be8M5lDnTE
Winter time is popular with twitters, especially in Souss Massa National Park.
Scorpions can you see in the desert, some "Max", one ugly poisonous spider is often in the Spring there I think, then you can see fox but unfortunately not that they run themselves out there, but most are there little guys that keep them and will show you them for some dirham :). Flamingo maybe if you are lucky there in Sahara lake too and other rare birds. But it is long way from Marrakech so I don't know how much time or how long you stay and what you plan to do.

Thanks guys!
Agree tim....very droll!
In marrakech for 5 nights so perhaps we will have to be satisfied with the local donkeys, cattle and storks.
:)
Brightly coloured frogs and terrapins in the Majorelle gardens and at the Menara. Birds including blue banded buntings, black capped bulbuls, house sparrows, ring collared doves, town and woodpigeons, the odd passing raptor and once, a hoopoe. That's about as exotic as it gets!
Thankyou,
It's a start! Perhaps we will get lucky, best keep our eyes pealed!
Will report any exciting sightings on our return. :)
And please, please do not pay to see captured animals such as the desert fox. One is tempted to pay for them to be released but this of course defeats the purpose, as they will just go out and capture more to be either petted, photographed or released. The idea is if they can't make any dirham out of it, they will stop doing it.
No worries.....we donot participate in any sort of tourist animal exploitation
