August is one of the hottest months of the year and Marrakech and other inland parts are up around 45'C.

In that regard you might want to choose a coastal location such as Agadir, Essaouira, Tiznit/Aglou plage, Sidi Ifni, Asilah etc and do day or overnighttrips

or rent a car and create a circuit that includes places that can be a little cooler such as higher in the mountains, gorges or palmeraies....such as Telouet, Dades or Todra gorges, Cascade Douzoud, Midelt....

Be sure to take Ramadan into consideration. It's most likely will end on August 8th, followed by 3 days of Eid El Seghir celebrations. Adjust your holiday accordingly.

During that time i'd skip both Marrakech and Agadir both are very hot, so Essaouira is the best option.

Hamid, are you saying that there would be more of a breeze in Essaouira than in Agadir?

Ramadan in places such as Marrakech makes for a very festive busy night life - an extra interesting time to be in Morocco
