Hello everybody.
Does anybody knows whether we can smoke in Marrakech airport. I mean going back to the UK, once we.ve passed passport control etc.. Is there a bar or somewhere to have a cigarette or is it totally non smoking?? Many thanks
Also if there is a bar or cafe, do they accept Euros or only there own currency?? Thanks
There is a smoking "hut" once you pass all controls.
It's to the left of boarding gates.
local currency is accepted in the coffee shop, and in the gift shop. i believe the duty-free shop only accepts foreign currency or credit cards.
there was a 'smoking box' for want of a better description, when i visited in july.

You will soon find the smoking area just let your nose do the walking !!
I prefer to think of it as a pleasant arbour (sans plants) where fellow addicts can while away the minutes awaiting departure.
