I am going on a cruise shortly with my mother, who is disabled. She can walk perhaps a minute at a time and can manage 2 or 3 steps. We will have a wheelchair with us. We have a day in Casablanca and would like to visit the mosque. I found a website about the mosque which says there IS a ramp (it said you have to ask for access) and that parts of the mosque are accessible to wheelchair users. But then the cruise ship brochure warns of steps into the mosque.
Does anyone have more local detail please? She can get up 2 or 3 steps and is happy just to visit the main body of the mosque. But if she really can't get into the building at all then we would choose a different tour.
Thanks for your help! :)
