"pzp" - yep, we sure do - we do it as a part of a Kaua'i medley actually - "Koke'e" and "Mokihana Lullaby" (Mokihana Lullaby is what we call "Aloha Kaua'i") - I think actually we will be doing them for the Ho'ike in February along with

"Koke'e I Ka La'i" (hula kahiko).

"Mokihana Lullaby" is one of Leilani's favorite Kaua'i songs - in fact it is on her new CD that is coming out in the next week (the new CD's were just delivered to her yesterday - I get my copy tonite when I see her at the Hyatt!).

It will be in Borders, WalMart and of course - at the Hyatt!

Sorry for the little plug there, but as I know lots of folks are Leilani's fans - thought I'd mention it here!

"pzp" - I'm thinking of 2 different songs -"Mokihana Lullaby" starts with "Ha'aheo I Ka Nani" - and yours is "Aloha Kaua'i" written by Aunty Maiki Aiu - I always tend to confuzzle the two of them!

The short answer is yes, we have danced "Aloha Kaua'i"!

now I don't know if these guys know how to fly helicopters but I do know that their web site is fantastic. I sit and play the video clips that they provide free of charge over and over again, and the video clips of Kauai are breathtaking and include the music that they play while they are in the air. If you can make it full screen its even better. Mix the drinks, shut out the lights, and be amazed....again!

And if you select the clip that is titled Top Of Kauai- Waialeale you will get an additional treat! Can you guess what the audio selection is just as you soar over the mountain top?

pzp - I have on IZ cd, and it didn't have that song on it - I can't believe I have missed this song in my life.

There is something about Hawaiian music and the Hawaiian language . . . it is so soothing, so beautiful, makes me almost cry.

A friend of mine just booked a surprise trip to Kauai - the recepient will find out in about a month. I want to do that! Of course, I know I need to see the Big Island and maybe Oahu, but I really just want to land in Lihue! I know many of you will know exactly what I mean . . . it is so nice to have this forum with kindred spirits who don't think I am cracked! Or maybe we all are??!! :)

I listen to that song about 10 times a day, my 5 year old knows most of the words:)
