We are going for the first time to Belize. Are there many restaurants in Corozal? What's the price range? One website said breakfasts are between $14-25 on Ambergris Caye? Is it more expensive then Corozal? Can you snorkel there? Thanks

ambergris is FAR more expensive to eat in than corozal. Despite shaky reviews, I found the food at corozal bay inn to be excellent and reasonable (conch ceviche- small, with basket of freshly made chips is EXCELLENT, plenty big enough for 2, and only about $6 US. breakfast for 2 there incl ice tea came to $7.50 US. downtown, the place in the upper level of the market has a mean beans and rice- very cheap!

the best bang for your buck on Ambergris is Monkey bites (cafe at exotic caye, open for breakfast and lunch only). Wonderful food, very reasonable (especially for AC), the rum bbq chicken sandwich with carmelized onions is delicious, and only about $6 US.
