Yesterday, around the Department of Agriculture building, there was a film production company shooting scenes for "The Good Shepherd", directed by Robert Deniro. (You can search for more movie details on www.imdb.com.) There were street closings near the Ag building and Smithsonian Metro, with 1960s-era cars lining C Street between 12th and 14th Streets. I could see Robert Deniro from a distance, hard at work with his crew. Maybe the production company will be shooting more scenes around town? Maybe Mr. Deniro or one of the other film stars will be sitting at the table next to you at dinner tonight?
