Hungry Mother park has cabins and family lodges for rent. The views are breathtaking there and there is plenty to do in the area. The cabin I stayed in a few years back was a little rustic but did have air conditioning and modern plumbing.

Your may want to check Massanutten (massresort.com). About 15 - 20 minutes east of Harrisonburg, Va. off of US 33. It is a Timeshare Community that offers you what you may be looking for. They have 4 bedroom units that sleep up to 12. Indoor swimming pools. Indoor water park ( similar to Great Wolf lodges but charge a seperate admissiion), Golf, Restaurnat, A couple of lakes.ect. Another location to look at is Yogi Bears Jellystone Park (campluray.com) outside of Luray, VA. A combination of their camping cabins may fit your needs

Both are located in the m0untains and close to interesting places to visit.
