Temperature at present

We have our long planned holiday coming up next week, but reports in the UK are of unbearable record temperatures. We were expecting it to be very hot and worked long dirves in a/c car to schedule, but are now wondering if we should reconsider our route or timetable to rush through the hot places. We are heading from Jackson Hole, via Moab & surrounding area to Grand Canyon.

Any thoughts or ideas appreciated.

Thanks

Anne

Well it rained last night and the temps dropped dramatically. It is about 70 F right now and cloudy. You can't plan your trip based on current temperatures. Go with your original plans. Things will change again by next week.

Well, a cool 11 C this morning in Park City. Don't worry about the weather. Yes, sometimes it gets hot in the summertime and it's been pretty hot this week. But it's not anything that's disrupted any of our plans at any time. Heat in dry desert is much more tolerable than in more humid climates. Just looking long range, temp forecasts for SLC in next seven days are pretty reasonable with highest forecast temps around 32-34 C.

Don't worry, go with your plan.
