Oregon Coast Casinos

I will be travelling down the Oregon Coast in mid-Arpil (Astoria to Crescent City, CA) with an overnight in Yachatas. I plan to stop at a few of the casinos. Can anyone tell me which of the Oregon Coast Casinos are most like the action in Vegas (drinks, Black Jack, Slot)?

Also, if there are some 'must sees' along the way, let me know. Again, thanks for the great input.

Off the top of my head, I know of two casinos on the coast, one in Lincoln City and one in Coos Bay. I've not been in either, but I think most casinos in Oregon have gaming similar to those in Vegas. The big difference (I think) is that alcohol isn't allowed on the gaming floor. Someone correct me if I'm wrong here.

Plus smoking limited at least in Lincoln City and they are a long way from las Vegas size.

In addition to Lincoln City (Chinook Winds) and Coos Bay (The Mill), Florence has a casino (Three Rivers) that opened about 18 months ago. They have Blackjack tables.

As you travel down the coast, you'll find 4 distinct regions, each with their own "special" appeal. Not sure what your likes/dislikes are or how much time you have, but a couple must do's from my perspective are: 1) Oswald West State Park, 3 miles north of Manzanita. Don't be fooled by the appearance from the highway. Take the 1/2 mile walk down to Short Sands Beach and marvel at the pristine creeks and old-growth forest along the way. 2) The Oregon Dunes. Beginning at Florence and stretching 42 miles south to North Bend. There are many opportunities along the way to view this one of a kind ecosystem. 3) Shore Acres State Park, near Coos Bay. Formal gardens left by former timber magnet Louis Simpson. Stunning!!

dengay right, much to see on Oregon Coast.

We go there often, but casinos at low end of priority of places to visit. Oregon coast has so much

I think best casino in Oregon is Spirit Mtn in Grande Ronde on way to coast if that is your interest
