I know this is a very general question and probably hard to answer. However, here goes: My girlfriend and I will be visiting NYC again this September. We'd like to go to a baseball game, not because we're such huge fans but rather because we enjoy the whole atmosphere, the fans and the show. Last year we attended a Padres vs. Gigants game (even got a free shirt ;-) ) in San Diego and decided we'd like to go again. Both teams will be home when we're in New York. The Yankees will be playing the Red Sox while the Mets will meet the Washington Nationals.
So we could go see either game. What would you suggest? I've read a couple of forum topics regarding similar questions and most people would recommend seeing the Yankees when they were still playing at their old stadium. Now that they've both switched stadiums I wonder if there is still any substance to back up that argument? Price is also somewhat of an issue. I already checked prices and availability… If we could get a reasonably priced seat in either stadium, which still allows us to follow the action on the field — that would be awesome. I had a look at Citi Field seating and found Section 420, 413 or 517 tempting – just to give you an impression…
Thanks so much…Edited: 5:18 am, January 25, 2013
