Last time we were in Vegas we took the Red Rocks Canyon jeep tour.(nice tour) The fellow that gave us the tour mentioned a place where they have outdoor concerts outside Vegas. He said it was an ampitheater somewhere in the canyon. We are planning a trip in August and would love to see a concert there. Can someone help me with the name of this place?
here is the website for the spring mountain ranch state park their summer theatre is really good,alot of locals go every summer and bring their own picnic to eat on the lawn before hand.

there is also an ampitheater in snow canyon,utah about 2 hours away from las vegas that has a large outdoor theater right against the mountains and has some well known concerts there.
