I will be in KC on business next week, and the company has been kind enough to put us up at the Argosy Casino Hotel for the duration of the trip. Our team has never stayed there, and as a result has come up with a few questions... if anybody out there on TA could help answer some of them we would certainly appreciate it!!

As far as the Casino itself is concerned, is it comparable to ones in Las Vegas? (i.e. free drinks while gambling, 24/7 operation, Vegas style slots, appropriate table games, standard odds, etc.)

Is the property located next to other Casino Hotels, or is it pretty much the only one in the area?

Is there any sort of airport shuttle to/from MCI?

Any "must see" restaurants, clubs, or shows?

Argosy is only casino in that area other casinos are 5-10 miles away. Rooms are nice, flat screen tv, rainshower head in a big shower. No free drinks. It has all the table games and vegas style slots but I think it closes for a few hours maybe 4am to 8am. Dont know about a shuttle might have to take taxi. I have stayed there several times and like the casino and the rooms.
