Traveling from Pensacola FL to Vicksburg to Tunica

We are stopping at the Vicksburg Military Park in Vicksburg and at the casinos in Tunica. Is there anything else that we should see along the way?

I would certainly suggest that you eat at Rusty's Riverfront Grill (on Washington St) while in Vicksburg.

If you are a blues fan, The BB King Museum in Indianola is a great stop on the way to Tunica. You would exit Hwy 61 onto Hwy 82 and travel east to Indianola.

The Delta Blues Museum and the Catshead blues gift shop in Clarksdale are certainly worth a visit. You might want to stop in at The Ground Zero blues club---you never know, sometimes you will hear live blues during lunch time.

In Tunica, the Riverfront Museum is very interesting and has a magnificent view of the Mississippi River. The Hollywood Café in Tunica is one of our favorite places to eat in Tunica (This is not at the Hollywood Casino.)

Where are you staying in Tunica?

Have a safe and fun trip.

Great ideas!! Also might want to stop in Natchez and visit one of the historic antebellum plantations. Natchez is about an hour south of Vicksburg.

We also love Rusty's- great food!! Check our riverfront murals and the Civil War military park is one of the best.
