my wife and i are heading to california between 30 march and 22 april, mainly for coachella but are also heading to vegas, los angeles and san fran. i have heard that when it comes to booking hotels it is generally cheaper to book a day or two before checking in. i've looked into booking in vegas and a key point i have found here is to try and avoid staying there whenever huge conventions are on. therefore we are planning to go to vegas for 4-5 nights throughout a week when convention numbers are small.
can anyone give some advice and tell me if waiting till the last minute to book is a good idea?
we are hoping to score 4-5 star hotels at discounted rates.
some help would be great, thanks
