£50 notes !!!

Me again - has anyone had any problem exchanging large denomination notes at the PP or is that ok? Also still wondering whether to take English cash or just get pesos out using the debit card? Thanks

No problem with £50 notes. However many of them do have rips in them at the top centre, so just make sure that there are no rips and tears and no writing on them.

Trust me, take Sterling notes and use the debit card if you run short. You have a free save in the closet in your room to store cash and valuables.

We have exchanged large denomination Euros and CND (100 & 50s) and it's a no hassle to exchage. as noted by Bellagio make sure that your currency is in top shape (no rips or tears). Using a debit you get chargesd service fees everytime so you end up saving by bringiung cold hard cash.

Enjoy your trip to PP. One of our favs in Cuba! :)
