Forget international brands, when in Rome....

get him to smoke Sopianae, that should cure him of the weed for ever.

Sadly they have become a bit Westernised, but they are still one for the connoisseur LoL.

I don't smoke but majority of my frends smoke Helikon (a Hungarian brand). That must be better than Sophiane.

John Player Special - which my wife smokes - are not, but as Szola says, most major brands are available somewhere.

Does your husband have any particular brand in mind ?

Szola, that depends upon your interpretation of 'better'......!

Of course, it is a matter of taste. My frends told me that that is the reason why they changed from Sophiane to Helikon.

Hi Lorraine,

there are all kinds of tobacco brands, incl. Regal. In general, most tobacco stores sell foreign brands like Marlboro, Pall Mall, L&M, Davidoff, Philip Morris, Eve, Vogue, Camel, Kent, Lucky Strike, Gauloise, etc. Some sell Benson & Hedges, Dunhill, etc.

You should know that some of the international brands (like Camel) sold in Hungary contain a different blend than the same brand in the US. I don't know how they compare to UK versions.

Hi

Does anyone know if Benson & Hedges gold are easy to buy in Budapest? I'm just wondering because they have stopped selling them in Poland.

Thanks
