I went to Mosonmagyarovar, close to the Austrian border, to visit Dr. Frank Kannmann the 1st. half of march. I got only 1 crown,saving approximately 50% over dental work as priced in rural Indiana.

He was featured in USA Today last august, I think it was. There is a travel agency in Las Vegas who organizes group tours to see him. I can't remember their e-mail or website.

Dr. Kannmann speaks enough english to tell you to open up-turn this way-bite down, etc. He is also an oral surgeon. Originally from West Germany, he moved his practice to Hungary for the cost efficiency.

I was prepared to remove or cut down and cap 3 crooked teeth. I took enough money to do this. After examination, they said to do all this would be against their dental training and philosophy. I consider it an enormous indication of their ethics to refuse a good fee. There are plenty of dentists here in the US. who would destroy your mouth for that much money!

I am happy so far with my crown, tho my local dentist hasn't seen it yet.

Hello, I am at the moment in Hungary my dental treatments almost completed. I am delighted with the state of the art facilities, the comfort, care and quality of this experience. Most of all the savings! I cannot believe it is true....75% of what I was quoted in the United States. I am in Mosonmagyovar. My dentist is Dr. Frank Kannmann. I neglected to note regarding Dr. Frank Kannmann, I have found that he speaks English very well. We have had many conversations and he has been helpful in explaining all treatment and answering any questions about the area. I speak neither German or Hungarian.
