arrived at noon from cork, got the 406 bus 3ZL took about 30 min, got off at Renoma stop, all the stop are on a display board inside the bus so you know when your stop is coming up.
Got to Sofitel at 13.00, room not ready but checked in & left the luggage, the girl on reception gave us a map & wrote down names of places to see & restaurants to try, first stop was Spiz , easy find, the chocolate beer was really good as was the rack of ribs, yum. weather was showery with a cold breeze.
The squares are beautiful, all different coloured buildings, cafes & seating areas everywhere, but not many people sitting out.
Food & drink are cheap, clothes shopping similar to home with the same shops M&S,Zara, H&M etc.
The polish brand shops were cheaper with decent boots , shoes way cheaper.
