 Gdansk Tour

My husband and I took a cruise on the Baltic Sea which was probably the BEST vacation we have ever done. The absolute highlite of our trip was the tour of Gdansk. Our tour guide Elizabeth was incredible! She not only made you feel welcome, but provided the group with an unbelievable amount of information about the country. We found her very easy to understand and was so helpful to provide information about her country. Our wonderful time was mostly due on part of her expertise. Thanks to Elizabeth!

Just got back from a baltic cruise with 5 couples. I arranged a Gdansk tour with Elizabeth. She was outstanding. We wanted to include a concentration camp visit as well as the area sightseeing. Elizabeth went to the camp the day before our arrival & spent 5 hours there planning for our visit the next day. She is a very bright lady with a world of knowledge of the area.

I am Tony's wife and wanted to also mention how great Elizabeth was. One of the reasons she is so impressive, is her extensive knowledge of the U.S. gained through living here in America for a number of years. She works as an interpreter as well, and was so capable of understanding our questions and communicate back to us reflecting the differences in cultures. Elizabeth, if you read this, we loved you!

Thanks so much!

We also had an excellent tour of Gdansk via the port in Gdynia on August 2, 2010 with our guide Margaret (Malgorzata Andrzejewska-Bancewicz) through ToursByLocals.com. She was waiting for us at the ship exit, spoke fluent English, gave the historical significance of every site and answered all of our numerous questions. Our tour was during the St. Dominic Fair which was crowded but fun. Margaret shares a genuine love for her country and this beautiful city through her tours. Traveling from the port of Gdynia to Gdansk is a hassle so we would recommend a private tour.
