Hi there We returned from Prague a couple of weeks ago. We stayed on Nerudova at the Hotel Green Turtle at no 43 - near the top. The street is on a sharp incline up to the castel. If you are on Nerudova you are only a few minutes walk away from the castle. The area is very quiet which suited us. There are a number of pubs and restaurants around. You are about 5-10 minutes walk from Charles Bridge - depending upon where on Nerudova you are staying. From Charles Bridge, it is just another 5 minutes ish onto the Old Town Square. You can easily access the trams if you want. We liked it there because it is so quiet. Loved Prague. People we met were welcoming and friendly.
