There are only a couple of reviews, so I was wondering if anyone was familiar with this hotel and what is its reputation. Also, how far is it from the historic sites?

I too have only found a couple of reviews but have a friend who stayed the prior to the refurbishment has told me that it was a great hotel when she was there. She said that the café is quite special and is frequented by tourists as well as locals.

I presume that you have visited their website at www.hotel-imperial.cz/index.php?page=general as it does contain very good information about the hotel - granted that it was done by the hotel itself. The one thing that I do like is that I did not find or hear anything negative about the hotel.

I will be there the first week of December and will tell you about it if you have not been there yourself.

This hotel has not been open very long after being refurbished, and I have seen it and it looks lovely.

Thanks TORRI. We are looking forward to our stay there. We wanted something a bit of the way out of the old town but not too far. The pictures of the hotel look really great.

the Renaissance is now the Hilton Old Town and i believe the Renaissance took over the Imperial.
