Ayia Napa 2013!!!

Yoo, thinking of heading out to Napa on the 15th of august next year for 10 nights. 12 boys out for a madness! Was just wondering if anyone could tell me is it still buzzing around that time does it tend to get dead around mid-end of august? Also spending money out there ? I spent 350 in Malia but that was only for 7nights (Not including Events & Quad Hire) I know it'll be more but anyone knows roughly how much I'd need would be a great help. Lastly wanted to know whats good out there in terms of clubs, beaches etc I like my urban i.e funky, afro beatz, bashment & r'n'b so if anyone knows anything on that front even better. Thankss

August is the busiest month especially with the clubbers so it will be jumping. Spends wise base it on going out at home drink wise as it ain't cheap although you can get offers of BOGOF and free shots but it's still comparable price wise to UK. food is cheap and all the usual suspects ar e in Napa including Burger King, McD's, Pizza Hut all you can eat buffet & KFC. Plus lot. S of fixed menu offers in the local restaurants

Napa will be banging then!!

It doesn't usually tend to get dead until October time although this year it has quitened down a lot earlier than usual.

Moneywise, i got back this morning and spent abour 400 euros for the week.

This included lunch evry day, eating out every night, mainly steak, at nice restaurants, hiring a quad bike for 3 days and also a convertible car for 2 days.

Also went on boat trips, to the square every night.

It's the same as here basically. You can go out n spend £10 on a steak or £30 on a steak.

It also depends on what you wanna do while there.

You're probably wanna do a bar crawl, the waterpark, maybe the underwater scooters which are wicked or the mad boat party.

The catamaran trip is good for a more chilled out one, free bar, buffet food etc.

Here's a link for some ideas what excursions Thomson do but it does change and it's fairly quiet there now

thomsonexcursions.co.uk/resort-excursions/00…

Also, some of the excursions are cheaper by not using Thomsons.

The drinks prices are the same.

The lowest i paid was 1.80 euros for a pint of beer but the most i paid was 6 euros.

If there's gonna be 12 of you then that's a BIG bonus to you.

When you head into the square you get all the touts trying to get you into their bar. this year their "special offer" has been 2 drinks for 5 euros and 2 free shots.

The best deal i got was 4 drinks for 5 euros, 4 free shots and a bottle of bubbly!

BARGAIN with them and then when you finish your drinks, just go to the next bar and do the same again!

They'll do pretty much anything to get you into their bar thinking that you're gonna spend hours and lotsa euro's in there but just move on and get the next deal.

Clubswise, there's loads. Castle club is by far the busiest and best in my opiniom but you might like Black n White club then there more cheesy Carwash. Starsky's is good and then you've got the after club parties at Aqua and River Reggae which both have swimming pools in :)

There's loads of beaches but you're only gonna really be interested in Nissi beach.

If you like watersports, ladies, loud choons and even foam parties on the beach then Nissi's for you!

You might wanna check this out :)

Forgot to mention about food.

There is no Burger King anymore, they have been taken off the island, (although i did find 1 in the airport!).

Pizza hut is a good bet if you're really hungry as they do an all you can eat buffet for €6.95 and you can either have unlimited pizza, (cooked fresh for you), or unlimited salad.

i had pizza and my gf had salad ..... and we obviously shared both so happy days :)

There is McDonalds which is around the €5 mark for a "meal" and there are restaurants like Zizzi, or "Z" as it HAS to be known now, (naughty naughty!), which do various pasta dishes for around €8.

There's also Clarabel's in the high street which do a 3 course meal for €10.95 which is pretty good value for money.

KFC is also in the high street but i found that quite expensive.

And finally do they charge to get into the clubs? Thanks in advance really appreciate it !
