What is there to do?

I will be on my honeymoon during September 2007 and will be based at Coolum Beach. I was planning on going to Noosa for the day as its only a short drive from Coolum but Im basically wondering what there is to actually do??

The place does look great but we are short of time and want to see Fraser island and moreton island which we know have "things to do" ... what is there to do in Noosa?

In Noosa you can:

Walk thru the national park which starts just near the end of Hastings Street (the main street) of Noosa and has fabulous views and you might spot koalas and other wildlife.

Have lunch in one of the restaurants on the beach.

Have a delicious gelati from Massimos on Hastings Street.

Browse the boutiques.

Have a walk along the boardwalk which runs right along the beach front and onto the national park.

Eumundi market which is on Saturday morning and Wednesday morning is well worth visiting.

Noosa is lovely.

If you are going to Fraser Island you prob. don't need to go to Moreten too.
