noosa or mooloolaba

One week the end of September for 50yr old couple from New Zealand, we have not been to Australia before, enjoy the outdoors. and new places, preferably not too crowded.

Noosa is more upmarket, more touristy.

Mooloolaba is very popular with families.

Both can be crowded at holiday times.

Chris

Both Noosa and Mooloolaba, like most Queensland destinations, are seaside resorts. Activities are based around lazing on the beach and eating in beachside restaurants. Both can be crowded, but probably not in September.

When you say you enjoy the outdoors, what do you mean? If you like tramping, then the Sunshine Coast area may not be the best thing for you.
