Hi Frens,

My husband & i went for a short trip in Airlie Beach, a 3D2N stay from 24-26 Sept 2006. We really like the place. We went for day trip with Fantasea to the reef on the first day and the Whitehaven Beach on the following. It was a buy 1 get 1 free promotion. A really value for money trip. Given the short time we have, I would say we have managed to see the amazing GBR and the beautiful whitehaven. This must also thanks to the local agent - Whitsunday Accommodation & Tours (which I found their contact through Tripadvisor) for their great suggestions and help us for the booking. We really appreciate their hospitality extended to us and they also take the extra miles to show us around the Airlie Beach. It was really very nice of them.

Always good to hear any feedback, but yours is great. Glad you enjoyed The Whitsundays so much. Looks like you met Libby & Bob, great people and go out of their way to help if they can. And I like the something for nothing thing, that always comes in handy. Thanks for your feedback, I really appreciate honest reviews as do most of the regular contributors, next time spend a bit longer. cheers airlian

Yeah, met Bob & Libby and the kids. I also like their place..nice~~ Ya, hope to spend more time in my next trip!!
