Aldi Mobile Sim cards in Australia

I will be travelling in Australia this month & staying at Arrow On Swanston Apartments,Swanston street.Thinking of getting a local Aldi mobile sim cards for communication & navigating in Australia for better coverage.

Where can I get the sim card upon arrival at Swanston Apartment as our arrival flight will be early in the morning ? How much it cost me if I want to get a 2.5GB of data with unlimited national calls ? Can I get it in the Melbourne airport as our arrival time is 0010 hours & I presume all the outlet at airport will be closed ??

Kindly advise.

Do make sure you have heaps of iD available when you go to register it. (Birth Cetrificate, uni ID crad, drivers licence etc). I didn't and it took me days of calling the help line before the helpful chap (in the UK of allplaces) suggetsed I ask a local to register it for me!!

As a non-resident you'll require your passport details to register the SIM.

I believe this is a Federal Government requirement, not up to the individual carriers.
