had booked q1 2 br appartment thru aussie tourism on our trip 2 australia with my family.though we had no complaints as far as our appartment was concerned (it really was great) we had terrible experience of booking done thru aussie tourism
1)on arrival the q1 people had nothing to do with our bvooking.we had to wait for 30 minutes with our luggage for aus tourism representative to come to hand over our keys. this is all she did.
2) on reaching our appartment we were terrified to find our room had no ocean views where as we had been promised appartment with stunning ocean views. only from one corner of one window u could see a glimpse of ocean
3)on making this complaint a senior person came promptly he was so ill mannered he howled and growled on us and said we had a great deal in relation to price we had paid (though we paid 100% in advance as per their quote) even on requesting that he could do something as it was alean season he simply asked us to shutup.
there were only 4 bath towels provided for 2 room apartment booked for 8 nights, no instructions for use of hotel facility, daily or weekly servicing of the appartment(which was not there unlike every other palce we stayed lakes resort in cairns and grand mercure in sydney)
we were not even told whom to contact for any requirrement.
since we had prepaid 100% we just could not do anything but it certainly spoiled any fun in staying in one of the most expensive places in surfers paradise
we stayed in appartment q1 4407 from 27.05 .06 to 4.06.06
