I really need some input here as im driving myself C.R.A.Z.Y going backwards and forwards in my own head!!
I have 2 options open to me for next year:
1 - visit Australia (largely basing myself out of Brisbane where i have friends to stay with) in June to coincide with British & Irish Lions Tour (MASSIVE rugby fans) - we would be doing this on a package with Lions Supporters
2 - visit later in year for your summer, again basing myself largely out of brisbane, but would also go off visiting Sydney and Blue Mountains etc etc etc
We are huge rugby fans and it will be 12 more years til the Lions tour Australia again so on the one hand im really tempted by this option. HOWEVER due to the scheduling for the games and the fact that i cant really take more than 2.5 weeks max off work we will probably only get to see the Brisbane test and 1 maybe 2 midweek games. ALSO its the winter with you guys (albeit i do appreciate your winters are better than our summers!!) BUT theres nothing better than the atmosphere at Twickenham for an England v Australia game so the atmosphere for a Lions game would be IMMENSE!!
OR do i decide that the massive hikes in prices for coming over on a Lions "tour" will be ridiculous and i would be better off coming over in your summer when i can experience Australia at its best and have more time to do whetever we want as opposed to working round match days??
I do understand that as yet i have no idea on what the prices for the Lions option will be as they arent released for a while but taking the costs out of the equation for the moment would someone please advise what THEY would do in my position cos if i think about this for much longer i think im gonna go mad!!!
