Sydney for a weekend

I will be visiting Sydney for 3 days in October and am looking for some advice on what to do and see in such a short period of time. Can anyone recommend hotel/hostel? All help greatly appreciated.

If you can get a booking, the Rocks YHA hostel is highly recommended, especially for its location. A good and inexpensive way to see the harbour, as well as seeing both harbour an ocean beaches, is to take a ferry to Manly. There are plenty of food outlets a ou walk along the Corso to the Ocean Beach.

Hi,

A few more details would be helpful regarding your budget & interests. Have a look on wotif to see what suits your budget. You are best to stay in The Rocks / Circular Quay / City for easy access into the main attractions.

Would really like to see the opera house And harbour bridge. After that open to suggestions. Budget for hotel/ hostel. Is 150-200 dollars for 2 people per night realistic in Sydney?

As already suggested, try to stay at the Sydney Harbour YHA in the Rocks with the Habour Bridge and Opera House right in front of you. Your budget can be done here in a share room if booked ahead.
