Hi i do know of the place but didn't even know they'd opened a restaurant! It's a very pleasant wine bar and it looks as if they've now opened the rooftop as a restaurant. I don't remember seeing any menus/signs out for a restaurant last year so it's either new or somewhere that specifically caters to wedings.

You can check out the www.thelindianway.com which still describes it as a wine bar or www.lindianet.gr where it's listed as a restaurant/wedding venue! Plenty of pictures of previous wedding receptions to look at.

dont know that one but I see from your postings that you were also looking at places in pefkos. The philosophia, which was mentioned by someone else has the best food I have eaten in greece. its greek, but has a little something extra.

I had lamb stuffed with dried fruit and topped with sweet onion chutney, it was so good (this was at our friends weddig reception) that I went back a few days later to have it again. I have NEVER done that before!

Like Marcus I thought the Byzantino was a wine bar. We where in Lindos in October and there was wedding party having a private drinks reception at the wine bar then they were off to one of the rooftop restaurants in the village. I know this as I was talking to the English lady who was serving us. It's a nice place we go in each time we are in Lindos.

Thanks to all who replied regarding the Byzantino Restaurant. I have been in touch through email with Mikalis at the Byzantino, he has sent me wedding menus, pictures and loads of infomation, infact he couldn't do enough!! We love the look and location of this restaurant so much that we have already booked to have our reception there. So i will let everyone know what it's like when we return from our wedding in August.

Hi Jilly....the wedding was fantastic and we were so pleased with the reception at the Byzantino...Mikalis and his staff couldn't do enough! I would highly recommend the Byzantino.....there was 37 of us altogether and was just the right size. xx
