Tuscany to Cinque Terre

Hi,

Just wondering which town is the nicest in Cinque terra as we have only two nights in the area. We will be flying from Dublin and staying in Tuscany for a week. Should we fly to Rome and take the train to Cinque terre or drive from Tuscany? We usually fly into Pisa but this year hope to extend our visit to include Cinque Terra.

Thanks,

Vancouver, Canada

I would suggest to take the train in as the CT is not really car friendly. Once there you would have no need of a car. Monterosso is a bit bigger and so may have a few more amenities.

Have a look at the villages www.cinqueterreonline.com

Check current train times over the next seven days, list one of the villages as destination www.trenitalia.it/homepage_en.html
