Has anyone been to Tirrenia in Italy, if so what is it like?
Are restaurant, bars, beaches and general area any good?
Is it touristy or residential?

Between you and me....no worth at all!!!!!!!
Choose Forte dei Marmi for a beach holiday, It's an exclusive destination perfect to find nice restaurants, hotels, beach clubs and all the best of shopping!!!! There is also a very nice golf course!!!!
Or... for a more alternative beach experience, try Torre del Lago, not far from Forte dei Marmi.
What is wrong with Tirrenia then?
Basically I'm looking for a cheap beach holiday in Italy, so I guest my question was are the beaches nice in Tirrenia? and are there places to eat or go for a drink other than hotel restaurants?
I can't really find any info on the resort so if anyone knows a good website which has info on Tirrenia then this would be appreciated?
What do you think about Marina di Massa?Much more lively and well-located than Tirrenia, nice sandy beaches, you find both free beaches and beach clubs, restaurants, and close to lots of places for day trips: Carrara, Cinque Terre, Lunigiana
I know nothing about Tirrenia, but if I'm reading this correctly, it's a party town for young people:
