Does anyone have any reviews of this area and villas they may have stayed at. Anyone heard of Villa Montalbano.

Hello. This is a beautiful area, not as many tourists as other parts of Tuscany. We have stayed in Vinci about 8 times and there are lots of good villas to stay at, I could recommend Agriturismo Leonardo da Vinci, it is about 5k from the town and owned by a lovely family Tel:055 753453-328 2194482, you can book direct or through www.interhome.co.uk

Pistoia is a lovely city with some great shops and cafes, although parking as other Tuscan Cities is a nighmare! Park as you enter the city and then walk. Luca isn't far and is well worth a visit.
