Return train from Chiusi to Munich

I am having difficulty finding out information on schedules and prices for trains to Munich from Chiusi and returning back to Chiusi. Both the German and Italian train websites have left me confused. Any help would be most welcome, thank you!

reiseauskunft.bahn.de/bin/query.exe/en? is simple for booking the direct night train up to 92 days in advance, maybe a bit longer. Simply click 'check availability' once you've found the train for your date, and the site will walk you through the options.

For day trains, use reiseauskunft.bahn.de/bin/query.exe/en? to book from Verona to Munich, and www.trenitalia.com (click British flag for English) to book from Chiusi to Verona Porta Nuova. Neither website provides online booking for the whole journey.

For the best daytime connection back from Milan, book the direct train to Bologna on reiseauskunft.bahn.de/bin/query2.exe/en? rather than to Verona.

It's only the direct trains to/from italy which can be booked online on that site - a few of the day trains go on from Verona to Venice or Bologna.

Thanks again, will check out the day train schedule because the night train seems extremely expensive. I always thought trains in/ from Italy were very inexpensive and good value for money compared for example to British trains, so was shocked at the expense of journeying from Chiusi to Munich.

German night trains are not very cheap, though they are high quality, and they tend not have as many cheap advance fares.. The advance reductions on day trains may well make these cheaper.

€127 for the night train seated is around 2/3 of the price of a second class anytime single from London to Dundee, a shorter distance, which costs £162.50.
